The First Woman to Pass 8th dan Exam First Section

The first woman to pass the first section of the 8th dan examination has been named and the AJKF Women’s Committee interviewed her. We were advised about this during the interview with Sato Atsuko sensei, the Committee Chairperson, now the article is published in the AJKF’s Kenso magazine August Issue (in Japanese only). “The First Woman to pass 8th dan examination first section; Kyoto 8th dan examination 2023, Kanda Manami” appears on p19.
